While most of the Ulzi team was homegrown right here in California, Ashley Turner hails from just outside the Mile-High City. She’s our Office Manager and Assistant Director of Accounting & Member Resources. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Ashley often scoffs at the rest of the team’s aversion to temperatures that fall below 60.
She makes up for her meteorological resistance superiority complex with a heart that can warm the office on even the coldest day.
Ashley is our one stop shop for human resources and company logistics needs. She’s the scolding hand telling us to knock it off with the poop jokes – but also the person making sure there are ample snacks. It’s an odd double life, and not many people could pull off being the carrot and the stick in the same day.
She might seem soft-spoken at first. But underneath that there’s a comedic timing and wit that is unmatched in the office. When Ashley speaks, laughs tend to follow. She does it all, without having to resort to the bathroom humor that her HR position disallows.
All that makes her the perfect introduction to the company for new members. Ashley handles all of Ulzi’s orientations and takes care of our new members during the logistical nightmare that is joining a new organization. Without her, the office just wouldn’t be the same – and she knows it.
When she’s not writing company policies, submitting competition information, or doing company accounting, you can find Ashley baking snacks and knitting scarves and sweaters to remind her of a snowier home.
