People often use a loosely attached set of words to describe themselves or others. “If there were three words to describe this employee, they would be these,” is probably what you were expecting out of this bio. But Elan Timmons isn’t your typical company bio subject.
At 19, he began his first startup. Before he’d even graduated he was managing internal affairs, overseeing product development and crowdfunding, procuring and maintaining investor relations, and prototyping and testing app technology. All of this before he even began to come up with the idea to create Ulzi. His prodigious skills are put to use procuring investment, managing the internal business operations of our company, and reminding all of us here why his “Every Day of the Week Lemon Chicken” should earn him an award for culinary ingenuity.* Whether he’s hosting group bonding events or winning over investors, we’re glad Elan has chosen to continue to hang his hat in our office.
What would be a grueling three hour investor meeting for most CEOs, is an invigorating learning experience for Elan. He leaves no stone unturned and doesn’t take no for an answer. That doesn’t mean he fights until he gets a yes, Elan is a business maker – not a business breaker. From his office he constructs new business plans, investor reports, and manages the architecture of the company and its app.
To Elan, Ulzi is more than a job – it’s his dream.
*On occasion Elan has been known to make guest appearances at underground cookouts, The Strongest Stomachs, a competition series dedicated to never overcooking a piece of meat. Especially chicken.
