At the office, if you ever need some content, writing, or ideas, Matt Dockery—our bonafide in-house writing associate—is your guy. Mostly because he’s, like, seven feet tall and easily found.
In all seriousness, Matt is tall, but he actually is our go to guy because he is intelligent, totally friendly, and loves creative collaboration.
When he is not helping other people meet their deadlines, editing tons of content, or writing his own great copy, he’s playing with his hobby car. Maybe driving it, working on it—or just looking at it. Matt describes the Datsun as his baby. Often, you can see a look in his eyes that we can only describe as the look of a proud parent, and you just know what he’s thinking about. It’s a little weird to see him get out of the tiny station wagon, but he’s definitely got the era look down pat.
Even though he studied English in college, Matt isn’t afraid to get down and dirty with some numbers and data analytics. With a statistics minor under his belt, he’s got the number mumbo-jumbo to back up his linguistic decisions. He has a hand in not just content marketing, but also much of ad testing and technical writing at Ulzi. This makes him a prime candidate for dumping that report you hate writing – but don’t feel bad, he really likes making pretty reports.
Fun fact, Matt’s partially color blind. He’s still pretty good at dressing himself, though – but expect a palette without green.
