How would we describe Maxwell Fong…
Well when you first walk into the Ulzi office you’ll see a few things. There are string lights hanging from the wall, a standing desk made from reclaimed wood. But what will probably catch your eye is the man behind that standing desk, illuminated by those string lights. It will almost always be Maxwell, Ulzi’s co-founder and best dressed team member. He doesn’t just look good in front of a camera either, he has a passion for being the man behind it as well. During Ulzi’s inception, Maxwell wasn’t only one of the faces of the company, he was also its lens – creating powerful storytelling through videos and visuals which combined his passions for music and motion.
While pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Cal Poly, Maxwell co-founded Current Solutions. Current is an organization committed to sharing the stories of sexual assault survivors. His business education helped him hone many strengths. Like his ability to make you feel at home in the workplace, his dedication to Ulzi and the fight to end sexual assault, and his unwavering charm and optimism.
Now that Ulzi is growing, Maxwell spends a lot of his work time managing an entire marketing team. Creating marketing plans and automation flows is time consuming, but he still finds time to train new videographers and editors on how to best tell Ulzi’s story.
When he’s not working – which isn’t often – Maxwell is exploring new hiking trails, playing ukulele, or hitting the yoga studio. The latter is thanks to the wellness influence of our Senior Director of Communications, Hannah Joslin. With one eye towards personal growth and the other focused on changing the world, he is ready to take on an ever changing world.
When you leave the office, Maxwell is the man you remember.
